Our objectives:
The objective
To promote gender equality and the inclusion of women in all areas of education.
They must first be sensitized to power structures and inequalities, to then find ways to deal with them and to use existing structures to their advantage.
Therefore, we would like to develop a curriculum conceptually based on parts of the document published by the European Union LifeComp as well as the diverse
Uses knowledge from the participating institutions and the results from previous projects. It will also be about Learning certain soft skills, which in turn improve the physical and mental health of the participants.
Specifically, a course manual is to be created that, without prior training, can be used for course instructors in adult education and advice. It will contain precise goals and content for each lesson, as well as a breakdown of the material required, the language level, and the time frame that needs to be planned.
We will Body-oriented methods and the cultural heritage of strong women in Europe using the expertise of those involved institutions and input from the target group to be obtained through focus groups that will be held at the beginning of the project take place.
The course is intended to sensitize women to injustices because of growing up and living in patriarchal societies, as many people do not have a critical view of existing orders developed, which in turn continue to reproduce.
Afterward, we will work on increasing the number of women in professional and personal development, e.g., through topics such as self-presentation, leadership, and work-life balance (all modules planned in the working draft are presented in the corresponding work package).
Additionally, it will provide an in-depth guide that provides background information, for example about LifeComp, body-oriented work andpatriarchal structures as well as findings from the focus groups and concrete application examples for them to practice trauma-sensitive application in migration and queer contexts.
The finished course manual will be online distributed and printed in relatively small editions (approx. 150 copies per country) and distributed to institutions that in turn provide multipliers.
The viewing copy can remain in the respective institution because it contains a QR code that links to the homepage of the partner organizations, where the curriculum can be downloaded. We rely on a combination of print and online products to disseminate the results.
The partner organizations also plan to use the developed course regularly in the future as part of their daily work. This is intended to sensitize and strengthen as many women as possible, as well as the partner organizations be professionalized and enriched in their offerings.
